Born out of the stillness that followed when the pandemic suddenly brought the world to a halt, Unraveling captures a deeply personal transformation. As flights stayed grounded and silence spread across the globe, Gunilla Törnfeldt could feel the earth breathe, and something within her began to shift. The album portrays a multifaceted process: to unravel something can mean it falls apart, but it can also mean that what was hidden becomes visible. Gunilla Törnfeldt pulls at the threads that both tangle and reveal what lies at the core.
